Renting a mini-storage unit with us couldn't be easier!
Why should I choose Storage Niagara over other self storage options?
With a Storage Niagara mini-box, you will only have to load and unload your belongings once. Not only will this save you a lot of time and aggravation, but there will also be less handling of your valuables, and therefore less chance of damage. Also, our mini-boxes are loaded and unloaded level using a forklift (as opposed to a tilt & load truck) which means less shifting while being transported. And because the mini-boxes are smaller, you'll be able to pack it with less empty space than a larger container, which also means less shifting during transport.
How do I place an order?
Simply fill out the online order form or call the office. We can either e-mail or fax the rental contract to you. You will need a Visa or Mastercard to place an order, but if you prefer, you can pay by debit card or cash at our office.
How long in advance do I have to place my order?
Usually only 1 day is sufficient, but we can often deliver the same day.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes, our minimum rental period is 1 month. If you need the containers longer, we will pro-rate your storage fees so that you will only pay for the time you need.
Is it cheaper to rent more than one unit?
Yes, we offer a discount for multiple units.
How much can a mini-box hold?
The mini storage units are 280 square feet, and will hold approximately 1 - 1 ½ average rooms contents. We recommend that you order 1 extra container, just in case you've under-estimated your storage needs. That way you won't incur extra delivery fees. If you use the container, great, and if you don't use it, simply return it empty and you won't be charged.
How long will I have to load my storage units?
Take as long as you like. Rental fees will begin on the day the container is delivered to you. When your container is ready, just call us and we'll come pick it up.
How do the mini-boxes lock?
You provide your own lock or purchase one from us.
Can I access my containers while in storage?
No problem. Just call us to make an appointment. We will need 24 hours notice, and your account balance must be paid in full.
What regions do you serve?
We can deliver anywhere in the Niagara Region.
Does your warehouse have an alarm system?
Yes.
